The Warther Cutlery 3″ Paring Knife, nicknamed “Old Faithful” has been made since 1902. Owning a Warther product is owning a part of American history! This 4th generation family-operated business in Ohio has been handcrafting knives since 1902. Warther knives have been made for many famous individuals including Ronald Reagan, Frank Lloyd Wright, Gerald Ford, Nelson Mandela, and many others. Using the finest materials, these knives are designed and crafted for comfort and durability. The blades are polished to a convex grind, which can only be accomplished by hand grinding. This assures the razor-like edge which can be easily maintained with light honing. The gorgeous tooling design on the blade is done by hand and has been the Warther trademark since 1907. The blade runs completely through the handle for stability and balance. The handles are made of layers of birch and are riveted onto the blades. Blades are made from CPM S35VN stainless steel and tempered to a Rockwell C58-60.
